SORRY AS THE SUN SETS

With their debut album 925 arriving via Domino this Friday, London's Sorry having been giving a lot of its tracks a moment in the spotlight. Yesterday was the turn of the eerily beautiful 'As The Sun Sets'. Paying homage to the 1967 masterpiece 'What A Wonderful World' made famous by Louis Armstrong, 'As The Sun Sets' is a lighter take on the twosome's surreal signature sound. Sporting angsty, minor guitar lines, shiny pitch-shifted effects create the illusion of the sun getting in your eyes, whilst a solid rhythm section keep things grounded. As always, the track arrives alongside some co-directed visuals by vocalist/songwriter Asha Lorenz and her frequent collaborator Florence Webb (aka Flasha Prod.) Watch them here now. -Holly Mullineaux
